Marcus Pumpkin has one of the largest fruits, which can weigh as much as 3 lbs! It is a Guatemalan X West Indian Hybrid, which is an excellent choice for toast, smoothies, and salads. If you make a lot of guacamole, Marcus Pumpkin is not the best choice because its yellow, creamy flesh is more watery than oily, unlike the Mexican avocado varieties.

Marcus Pumpkin avocado is round, with green and easy-to-peel skin. The tree seems to put a lot of energy into making large fruits, but it produces fewer of them. Harvest these avocados in late October through November.
